Gajner Palace (Heritage)

Gajner Palace is a jewel in the Thar Desert, built by HH Maharaja Sir Ganga Singh of Bikaner on the edge of a lake. The property was converted into a heritage hotel in 1976. The hotel's compound stretches over 6000 acres. The palace was primarily a hunting resort during the days of the British Raj and attracted several dignitaries, including the Prince of Wales in 1905, Governor General Lord Elgin, Lord Erwin in 1927 and Lord Mountbatten when he was Viceroy of India.

It is a heritage property. It features a lush green garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

The well-lit air-conditioned rooms of Gajner Palace offer a minibar, sofa and satellite TV. Tea/coffee making facilities are available. The en suite bathrooms include a bathtub, hairdryer and shower.
The huge Junagarh Fort is 1 km from the property. The Gajner Railway Station and Gajner Bus Station are 40 km away while the Jodhpur Airport is 270 km.

The property operates a 24-hour front desk to assist guests with luggage storage, newspapers and safety deposit. A tour desk is available for making travel arrangements and currency exchange.
A variety of Rajasthani, Indian and Continental cuisines are served at The Mirage. Private dining is possible with room service.
